When Lauren first met Luke at a Rammstein concert, she became enamoured with his surname: Melville. She joked with a friend how perfect his surname would sound next to her name. How could she ever imagine that just a few short years later, the two of them would be head over heels in love, sharing that very same last name? That is the beauty of the stories love writes – there are twists and turns and we could never write a more perfect story ourselves.
As a bon voyage to their beloved South Africa, Acorn Guest Farm, was the perfect venue for their nuptials. Lauren and Luke got married in the 100 year old Poplar woods, surrounded by their most beloved family and friends. Every detail of their special day was carefully planned, from the handmade dreamcatchers, to the polaroid stations, and even the coffee truck serving cappuccinos all night long.
