Let me start off by saying that Mr and Mrs Weideman are my inspiration.
The 18th of August 2018 was a gloomy day, the temperature reached a maximum of 10°C, the wind was howling, rain was imminent, but, and it’s a big but, these two, they only had eyes for one another. I’m not even sure they noticed the cold (okay, maybe a little) but it didn’t matter to them, not even a little bit. They were the picture of love and contentment which was breathtaking to witness.
If they approach their marriage the way they approached their wedding day, then I have no doubt in my mind that these two will be one of those couples you read about in the newspaper, reaching their 60 year wedding anniversary.
Lauren and Jacques, I mean it when I say that you two are my inspiration. Never have I witnessed a love like yours, so tender, so true. Your wedding day was fantastic, you brought the sunshine when there was none, the joy of your family and friends was indisputable, and you sure do know how to throw a dance party! Steven and I were absolutely honoured to be a part of your special day.
I absolutely gushed when I saw Lauren and Luke’s decor. So many special touches, and , of course, rose gold is my scene!
Looking rather dapper there, gentlemen.
Nothing like a mother’s love!
One of those moments you’ll most certainly find me steaming up behind the lens. Daddy’s girl!
A magnificent bride to say the least.
Oxbow Country Estate in Bronkorstspruit was the picture perfect setting for Lauren and Jacques “I do’s” …
Officially husband and wife!
Let’s take a moment to appreciate their gorgeous cake!
Their love sparks a fire of adoration …
The best thing to hold onto in life is each other. – Audrey Hepburn
See what I mean? It’s hard to believe that this photo was taken at such icy cold temperatures. These two exude warmth.
Here’s to forever!
As always, team work makes the dream work, so a big thank you to the team that made Lauren and Jacques wedding so special!
