We took a drive to find a lavender farm for Robyn and Keith’s engagement session and what we found was the quaintest home overlooking the most beautiful fields of lavender. We seriously considered moving in.
The sunset didn’t disappoint either, making Robyn and Keith’s session straight up magic. These two are just so in love with each other, it’s unreal. I was taking portraits of Keith, and you should have seen his face light up when I asked him to look at Robyn. He couldn’t wipe the smile off his face, even if he tried. If this is what their engagement session is like, then I cannot wait to photograph their big day!
Speaking of romance, I think all boyfriends planning to propose can take notes from Keith. The proposal plan? He would surprise Robyn with the puppy they had previously chosen together and the dog would wear a heart shaped tag that was inscribed with the words, “Will you marry me?”. They would then walk inside their home where he had set up candles, rose petals, champagne, and balloons galore.
There was a twist, of course, and what ended up happening was that an unsuspecting Robyn arrived late from work (you can imagine how that must have added to Keith’s nerves), and was surprised to find their puppy had arrived. Completely oblivious to the sweet collar and tag, she was preoccupied with getting her things inside and not upsetting her other pups. As she walked through the door, she stopped dead in her tracks and saw the romantic scene awaiting her. She said yes, and they had a good giggle at her being late. The rest, as they say, is history.
The look on Keith’s face as he looks at his fiancee is everything.
Robyn and Keith, I’m counting down until your wedding day!
